What are the components of the transport system in highly organized plants?

The components of the transport system in highly organized plants are xylem tissue and phloem tissue.

Xylem tissues: The xylem tissue is responsible for the transport of water and minerals from the root to the leaves. They are made of long hollow chains of dead and tough xylem cells.

Phloem tissue: The Pholem tissue is responsible for the transportation of food from the plant to all parts of the body. The phloem tissue is made of sieve tubes, companion cells, phloem parenchyma cell and phloem fibres.
