If a woman is using a copper-T, will it help in protecting her from sexually transmitted diseases? ( CBSE 2013)

No; Use of copper-T will not help in protecting a woman from sexually transmitted diseases. Copper-T is an Intrauterine device that only prevents the implantation of embryo in uterus. It will not prevent the entry of sperms and thus will not protect from sexually transmitted diseases.
