To Find: tan–1(√3 ) – cot–1(–√3 )

Formula Used: Principal value for tan θ is (0, π) and for cot θ is π

Now,

As the value for cot does not lie in principal interval, we will use the formula,

cot-1 (-θ) = π - θ

tan–1(√3 ) – cot–1(–√3 ) = -π/2
