⇒ (x - 3)(x + 4) + (x + 3)(x - 4) = (x - 4)(x + 4) - (x - 3)(x + 3)


⇒ (x2 + x - 12) + (x2 - x - 12) = (x2 - 16) - (x2 - 9)


⇒ 2x2 - 24 = - 7


⇒ x2 = 17/2



Clearly, both the values of x satisfies the given equation.
