If a matrix has 5 elements, write all possible orders it can have. (CBSE 2011)

As the matrix has 5 elements.


And 5 can be expressed as 1 × 5 or 5 × 1


∴ only two orders are possible, one being a column matrix and other a row matrix.


Possible orders are – 1 × 5 and 5 × 1.
