Dear Sheena,

I hope this letter finds you healthy and hearty. I am writing to you today to express how bad I feel that my husband's concern for his father is being misconstrued as being heartless.

As I mentioned in my previous letter, Rakesh’s father is not doing well. Due to this Rakesh has decided on a diet that would help him recover sooner. But Rakesh’s concern over his father is being taken as something he is imposing on him. Everyone who comes to see my father-in-law taunts him and says that Rakesh treats him like a professional doctor and that their father-son relationship has changed to a doctor-patient relationship. I feel helpless as I cannot explain to them what state of mind Rakesh is going through. Hardly anyone realises that he has just lost his mother and seeing his father’s health deteriorate he is just concerned. I am very sad about this issue and can’t see him struggle like this. I know he has a lot to express but he cannot.
