Given that the order of the matrix = 2 × 3

So, the number of elements will be 2 × 3 = 6


It is also given that each entry can be either 1 or 2


So, each entry can be filled in two ways


Hence, the number of possible matrices = 26


= 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2


= 64
