Q3 of 45 Page 11

The curved surface area of a cylindrical road is 132 cm2. Find its length if the radius is 0.35 cm.

Given: CSA of cylinder = 132 cm2

Radius of cylinder = 0.35 cm

To find: The length of cylinder

Formula Used:

CSA of cylinder = 2πrh

Explanation:

Let length of road = h cm

So, for the given values,

2πrh=132

Hence length of road is 60 cm.
