Lives of great men are like footprints that can be followed, and these footprints lend direction to the lost and wrecked sailors, that is dejected and defeated people, who have given up on their attempts after failures. The examples set by great men, who have themselves failed and gotten up again, give courage to the dejected and instil a new sense of life and effort in them.
