i) Why should one act?


i) One should act in the present for the simple reason that the actions of his present-day decide his tomorrow. The poet states that on acting ‘today’ man secures another tomorrow for himself, that takes him a little further ahead at a time. Hence it is important to act, so that we can keep going and moving on in life. There has to be progress and this can be ensured only by acting in the present.
