How would you define a secular state?

● A secular state is a state in which the state does not promote any one religion as the state religion.


● All the people are treated equally in the eyes of the law.


● No person is discriminated in terms of religion.


● All the people in a secular state have the right to practice any religion openly without any fear.


● The secular state also does not discriminate on the basis of religion in the matter of employment and education.
