Can there be different views of the same religion? Explain with the help of examples.

At times, there is a difference in views of the same religion. Such as the following :

1. The Hindus have many different deities. Different people worship to a different deity.

2. The Budhhists are divided into Mahayana and Hinayana.

3. The Muslims Buddhists are divided into Shia and Sunni.

4. The Jains are of Shwetambar and Digambar sects.
