sec (-14700)


To find: Value of sec (-1470°)

We have,


sec (-1470°) = sec (1470°)


[∵ sec(-θ) = sec θ]


= sec [90° × 16 + 30°]


Clearly, 1470° is in Ist Quadrant and the multiple of 90° is even


= sec 30°
