some reformers are-

Ramanand- he was born in Bramhan family in Allahabad and was a follower of Ramanuja’s philosophy. He travelled at many places in North India, Varanasi was his center of activities.

2. Kabir- Kabir also belongs from North India lived during1440-1510 C.E.. he was born in jula’s family in Varanasi. He criticised caste system and multi idol worship. He worked for social reforms all his life.

Chaitanya- he was famous saint and great reformer of Bhakti movement. He was born in Bengal in Bramhin family. He opposed caste system and asked for brotherhood among the people.
