Q4 of 100 Page 33

Keeping the number of moles, volume and temperature the same, which of the following are the same for all ideal gases?

We know ideal gas equation is

PV=nRT

Where V= volume of gas

R=gas constant =8.3JK-1mol-1

T=temperature

n=number of moles of gas

P=pressure of gas.

So, we can write

According to question, n, V and T are constant.

R= gas constant is universal constant.

So, from equation (i) Pressure will be same for all ideal gas.
