What were the changes that came into existence after the English Parliament took over in the United Kingdom of Great Britain in 1688?

The Revolution of 1688 was also called The Glorious Revolution. It ended the regime of James II and started the regime of William III and Mary II.

• The English Parliament had seized the power from theMonarchy in 1688.


• The Bill of Rights was passed by the Parliament in 1689 which gives supreme power to the Parliament.


• It limits the power of the Monarch.
