Why are snow-leopards not found in Kerala forests?

Snow Leopards(Panthera Uncia) live in high altitude habitats like Himalayas.While, Kerala doesn’t have a similar habitat , and it has a wet and maritime tropical climate which is not suitable for Snow leopard , hence it is not found in Kerala.
