Explain the process of RNA interference.

RNA interference is a cellular defense mechanism of eukaryotic organisms. In RNA interference basically the mRNA translation is silenced by binding of a complementary dsRNA molecule. This complementary molecule may either be a transposon or infectious viral genome.
