Disease resistant crop varieties are bred by the process of hybridization and selection.

In this process first the screening/finding of disease resistant germplasm is located then it is incorporated in plant cell and hybridization is done. At last selection is done in between the hybridized crop varieties


(a)Himgiri.


(b)Pusa swarnim (Karan rai).

i) Morphine -- It is obtained from latex of poppy plant Papaver somniferum. It acts as a depressant and slows down body function.


ii) Cocaine -- It is a coca alkaloid obtained from coca plant Erythroxylum coca. It interferes with transport of dopamine in the body. It stimulates the Central Nervous System, produces a sense of Euphoria, increased energy, may also cause hallucinations ( in high doses).


iii) Marjuana -- It is a cannabinoid obtained from inflorescence of plant Cannabis sativa i.e. from the flower tops, resins and leaves. They show their effect on the cardiovascular system of the body.
