How did Ahmed Khan, plastic sacks manufacturer from Bangalore, solve the ever-increasing problem of accumulating plastic waste?

Ahmed Khan developed “polyblend”, a fine powder of recycled modified plastic. When this mixture is mixed with the bitumen that is used to lay roads it enhanced the bitumen’s water repellant properties, and helped to increase road life by a factor of three. He now purchased plastic waste, which is the raw material for polyblend,from rag pickers and uses it to make roads.
