Write one similarity and one difference between the chemistry of lanthanoids and that of actinoids.

Similarity between lanthanoids and actinoids is that both mainly shows +3 oxidation state, both are electropositive and very reactive.


Difference between lanthanoids and actinoids is that lanthanoids have less tendency to form complex as compared to that of actinoids. And also Most of the actinide ions are colored whereas lanthanide ions are colorless.
