The sum of the radius of the base and height of a solid cylinder is 37 m. If the total surface area of the solid cylinder is 1628 cm2. Find the volume of the cylinder.

Given,

Sum of base radius and height of cylinder = 37 m

Total surface area of cylinder = 1628 m2

= 2πr(h+r) = 1628

= 2πr ×37 = 1628 = r =

∵ h+r = 37

∴ h = 37- 7 = 30 m

Hence, volume of cylinder = πr2h =
