(b) The stage shown in the above diagram is late anaphase of mitosis in an animal cell because-


(i) Two chromatids of a chromosome are reaching to the opposite poles of the cell.


(ii) The appearance of the furrow in the cell membrane.


(c) This is a mitotic division which is found in all type of somatic (body) cells except reproductive cells.


(d) The stage prior to the anaphase is metaphase.
