Define reproduction. How does it help in providing stability to the population of species?

Reproduction is defined as the process of producing the new individual from the existing organisms of the same species. Reproduction is of two types: Sexual Reproduction and Asexual Reproduction.


It helps in providing the stability to the population of species as the population of the same species live in niches and use their ability to reproduce. It controls their body design by making proteins through DNA copying during reproduction. It led to the stability of particular species through minor variations and body design.
