Q3 of 60 Page 1

Why should biodegradable and non-biodegradable wastes be discarded in two separate dustbins?

Biodegradable and non-biodegradable wastes should be discarded in two separate dustbins so that the time and energy required in segregation later may be saved and the waste may be recycled accordingly. Biodegradable waste changes to manure directly. Non-biodegradable waste is recycled into new products.
