State Coulomb's law and give the unit of force constant.

The electric force between two charges depends directly on the product of charges and inversely as the square of the distance between the charges, F ∝ q1q2 and F ∝ ⇒ F = k Where q1, q2 are the charges, r is the distance between them and k is the constant of proportionality.
