Buddha asked Kisa Gotami to bring mustard seeds from a house that has not losed any of its loved ones to death. Kisa searched a lot but didn’t find even one such house. When she sat down tired, she saw the city lights that kept on flickering and extinguished. She realized that no one can escape death and she had been blind in her grief. She found that immortality can be achieved only by giving up all selfishness in this world.
