Find all the possible dimensions (in natural numbers) of a rectangle with an area of 36sqcm, and find their perimeters.

Area = 36 sq.cm


l × b = 36


Case I = 18 × 2


Case II = 9 × 4


Perimeter for Case I = 2 × (18 + 2)


= 2 × 20


= 40 sq.cm


Perimeter for Case II = 2 × (9 + 4)


= 2 × 13


= 26 sq.cm
