Which of the following substances is an antacid?

As the food enters the stomach, hydrochloric acid is secreted. This decreases the pH in the stomach and becomes helpful in digestion. Sometimes more HCL is secreted to digest certain food products such as eggs, fish etc. This causes the pain in our stomachs and termed as acidity. Basic substances neutralize this acid and reduce the pain. They are known as antacids.
