Aluminium occurs in combined statethe , whereas gold is found in free-state in nature. Why?

Noble metals like gold and platinum which are unreactive under normal conditions and hence are found in free-state.

On the other hand, aluminium is reactive in nature and hence react with environmental factors like oxygen or moisture to form corresponding products.
