Cytoplasm

i) Cytoplasm is responsible for providing shape to the cell.

ii) Most of the cell’s metabolic activities occur in the cytoplasmic space.

iii) It contains most of the cellular organelles like Mitochondria, Nucleus, Golgi bodies, Endoplasmic Reticulum etc.

iv) It acts as a medium of transport of molecules from one organelle to other.
