Show that the number 231 and 396 are not co-primes

The co-prime number is the number which has only one common factor (i.e. 1) no other common factor.


Factor of 231 = 1 × 3 × 7 × 11


Factor of 396 = 1 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 × 11


Here, the common factor = 1, 3 and 11


Hence the number 231 and 396 are not co-prime.
