The perimeter of an isosceles triangle is 34 cm. One of its sides is 7 cm more than the other side. Find all three sides of the triangle.

A given in the question, the triangle is isosceles.

Isosceles means two sides having the same length.


∴ Let two of it’s side be of acm.


∴ it implies third side = a + 7


Now perimeter of triangle = sum of all sides


∴ a + a + a + 7 = 34


∴ 3a = 27


∴


∴ sides will be a, a, a + 7


That means sides = 9cm, 9cm, 16cm.
