In a school 4/9 of the students are boys and the number of girls is 775. Find the number of boys in the school.

Given:- of students = Boys


Number of girls = 775


To find:- Number of Boys


Let the total number of students = x


Then,


Now, Total number of student = number of boys + number of girls




⇒ 5 x = 9 × 775


⇒ 5 x = 6975



⇒ x= 1395


Number of Boys = 1395
