The measure of an angle is two third of its complement. Find the angle.

Let the angle be x.


We know, the sum of two complementary angles is 90°.


⇒ Complementary angle of x = 90° – x


Given:


⇒ 3x = 180° – 2x


⇒ 5x = 180°



Thus, measure of the angle is 36°.
