Q3 of 6 Page 110

The measure of an angle is two third of its complement. Find the angle.

Let the angle be x.

We know, the sum of two complementary angles is 90°.

Complementary angle of x = 90° – x

Given:

3x = 180° – 2x

5x = 180°

Thus, measure of the angle is 36°.
