By whom is the president of China appointed?

The President of the China is also the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China.

• The Parliament of China called National People’s Congress selects some delegates and those representatives choose few members from Central Committee of the Communist Party.


• Out of these some members reaches to the Politburo (Highest Decision-making body), the Politburo standing committee.


• This standing committee has seven members, who are of supreme leadership.


• The committee elects the General Secretary of the Central Politburo committee. The same person becomes the President of China.
