How do the individuals give approval to the government? Explain.

In a democratic country like India, people have the utmost power of electing a Government. Here the citizens directly elect the government it wants for the next 5 years.

The individuals respond to the policies/law made by the Government in several ways. The people elect the political party if its policies are in the benefits of the nation, and when certain policies are not in the benefit of any community, they hold strikes, hartals, agitate against the Government, or the people might also not cast vote in the next election in the favor of that political party.

This keeps an eye on the working of Government and increases its accountability.
