• The social and the religious reforms of the Britishers mostly involved in favor of the majority who were Hindus and this definitely created a rift among the Muslims.

• The Muslim League wanted the independent state for Muslims in the northwestern and eastern areas of the country, even though it didn’t include the term partition, but this eventually led to the partition of our country.

• The provincial election of 1937, made League believed that they are the minority and will always remain the second choice in the administrative system.

• The Congress also demanded a joint congress League government which Congress rejected which made Muslim League infuriated.

• Mainly, the Muslim League started considering themselves as the representative of the Indian Muslims.

• When the League got success in an election with the reserved Muslim seats, they made their thought to create another state more firm.

• British decided to set up an administrative system in India, but Congress and Muslim League didn’t agree on certain terms because of which the partition of our country became unavoidable.
