The working of the Constituent Assembly has given sanctity to the Constitution. Explain.

The Indian Constitution was drafted by the members of the Constituent Assembly. On 9th December 1946 first meeting of the assembly was held. The Assembly represented the people of India, though it was not chosen directly by the people it was elected mainly by the members of the provincial legislature.
