Why are changes needed in the Constitution? Explain any three reasons.

The changes are needed in order to keep pace with the current situation. The changing phases require many archaic laws also to be changed. Keeping this in mind the framers included the provision of the amendment in the Constitution.

Article 368 in Part XX of the Constitution deals with the powers of Parliament to amend the Constitution and its procedure. It states that the parliament may incorporate changes to the Constitution when required but without changing the basic structure of the Constitution.
