Describe the basis on which archaeologists identified the centres of craft production in the Harappan culture.

Archaeologists look upon four indicators in order to identify the centres of craft production: (a) raw materials such as stone nodules, whole shells, copper ore (b) tools (c) unfinished objects (d) rejects and waste material, for instance, the waste would be discarded at the place of production. These traces form the basis about the centres of craft production.
