(1) The confusion over ‘oxen’ meadows over which both Lomov and Natalya were quarrelling didn’t settle down. It was just kept on hold for a while for the time being when Lomov puts his proposal before Natalya. So, it was just settled for the time being.


(2) Hobbies play a major role in the development of one’s career. Starting doing something as the hobby and then continuing for the lifetime will give you a lot. He started as a hobby in his school and from there itself he came to know how the cells work. Later with the dedication and support from the family members, he became scientists.


(3) There was one Chinese emperor, who always used to boil water before drinking it. One day what happened was that a few of the leaves of the twigs burning under the pot fell off and dropped down into the water. It then gave water the delicious flavour. It was nothing but the tea leaves.


(4) Maxwell observes that the air hostess “was the very queen of her kind”. This is because she handled the whole situation with great patience.


She said, ‘it would be better if you resumed your seat, and I will find the animal and bring it to you’. She said this ingratitude of helping Maxwell. She was very kind and she understands the problem in a very calm and quiet manner.
