Anne was so witty, clever and wise in presenting her views on the subject. It is seen in her statement “There is no smoke without fire”. What does Anne Frank want to refer to by this statement? Explain.

Anne wrote everything about her in her diary that she gets on her birthday. That dairy was the best substitute for her real friend on which she can completely rely on and can share everything. Anne Frank loved her father a lot; she once wrote a letter to her father and talked about her relationship with Peter. To which her father was not satisfied with her decision. It also revealed that Anne is very emotional and gets easily attached to everyone. She is introvert kind of person.


According to her father, the relationship was inappropriate because they both live under the same roof. He asked Anne to be careful and not to meet him much often. Anne was previously reluctant with the decision of her father but later she realized her mistakes and gave it a second thought. She realized that her parents are emotional for her, and are bold and courageous. They are her well-wisher and will take the best decision for her.

Anne was so witty, clever and wise in presenting her view. It can be clearly seen in her statement that, ‘there is no smoke without fire’. She was a very honest girl who accepts the truth. She is always aware of her faults and her shortcomings. She always wants to improve herself where ever she lags behind.


Her head was always hunted by wishes, thoughts, and approaches. She had her own style of arguing with people and she looks deep in her own matters and reasons. Mrs. Van Daan always tries to find fault in Anne. She every time comments on her dressing sense, she questions on her intelligence. She thinks Anne as a stupid and over smart. But Anne always appreciates the accusations made against her and tries to learn something from it.
