Construct a rhombus whose side is of length 3.4 cm and one of its angles is 45°.

Steps of Construction:

(i)Draw a line segment AB of length 3.4 cm.





(ii) At A, draw XAB = 45°.





(iii) With A as centre, draw an arc of radius 3.4 cm to intersect AX at D.





(iv)With D and B as centre, draw arcs of radius 3.4 cm to intersect each other at C. Join CD, BC.





Thus, the required rhombus is ABCD.
