What is a solenoid? Draw the pattern of magnetic field lines of solenoid

Solenoid: A coil of many circular turs of insulated cooper wire e=wrapped closely I the shape of cylinder is called solenoid.

Magnetic field lines of a solenoid through which a steady current is flowing:

The field lines inside the solenoid are in the form of parallel straight lines. This indicates that the magnetic filed is same at all the points inside the solenoid. The field is uniform inside the solenoid.
