The extent of trade relations established by the people of Harappa is mentioned below:


a) According to the Mesopotamian texts, the copper was brought from Magan.


b) In an excavation in Oman, the Harappan jars have been found with a thick coating of black clay.


c) Copper was also brought from Oman.


d) There was a relation from the present day Bahrain and Meluhha.


e) They also established settlements in areas where shells were available such as Balakot and Nageshwar.


f) The products from Meluhha included copper, gold and wood.
