Analyze the causes of the decline of the Vijayanagara Empire.

The main causes of the decline of the Vijayanagar Empire are mentioned below:


a) After the death of Krishna Deva Raya in 1529 a strain appeared in the relations.


b) His successors were very weak and were troubled by the rebellious military chiefs


c) It was decided to shift the control of the centre to another ruling lineage of Aravidu.
