Why was 'yesternight' very special for the poet?

‘Yesternight’ here means “last night” was very special for poet as he experienced a beautiful and memorable walk in the moonlight. As the poet was returning home with his friends it was a night of full moon, the moon was spreading all its limelight all over the nature and this beautiful and soothing sight captured poet’s eyes and heart which led him to think some intense thoughts and felt some deep emotions. He seemed too lost in remembering some memories and happy moments of his life and began to relate it with the beautiful sceneries he came across in his path while walking towards his home. He had various sights and sensation of animals, leaves, winds, grasses and many more which touched his heart with a pleasurable feeling. It was indeed a memorable experience for poet in his lifetime hence he considers that night a very special night for him.
