(i) Why does the poet feel 'blest'?

(i) Here ‘blest’ means ‘blessed’, the poet feels blesses as last night he experienced a walk in the moonlight with his friends while coming back to his home. He is blessed to visit such a mesmerizing scene of nature’s beauty that he begins to recall all his beautiful and memorable moments of his life and cherishes them with a warmth feeling while praising the moonlight.


(ii) ‘A happy spot for memory to rest’ refers to the past life of the poet where all his happy memories seem to be saved. By having such an allure vision of nature’s beauty during moonlight, poet’s heart begins to feel that joy that he remembers all his happy moments in which he used to be happy and enjoy without any worries , those moments which are lost somewhere and waiting to come out to feel in the present.
