Trip To Nainital
A ten- day tour to Nainital was organized by the school in June, 2018. It was a fun-filled journey from Kolkata to Nainital. The students were high on energy during the trip. The trip was planned for both educational and refreshment purposes and fulfilled its objective really well.
The students enjoyed the cool weather of Nainital as it was a relief to them from the scorching heat of the summer. Visiting the Himalayan Botanical Garden, officially started the trip. The students learned a great deal about nature’s diversity. The next stop was the ‘High Altitude Zoo’ where they saw animals and birds which they might have only heard of or seen on the screen.
After the educational purpose was fulfilled, it was time for some picnic on Tiffin Top. The pretty town looked splendid from the view point and it was a visual treat to see the natural beauty of Nainital.
Later, the students indulged in fun activities like boating in the Naini Lake, getting thrilled on the Nainital ropeway and visiting the Snow view point. The Naina Devi Temple was the last place to be visited and the trip ended on a religious note.
